Our Illustration course provides a superb springboard from which to forge your personal inventive follow or enter work across the creative industries. Past students have also been inspired to enter trade competitions to gain exposure for his or her creative work and have also been able to publish and print their work through our in-home printing organisation to promote at artists’ book festivals.

To underpin creativity and encourage understanding of transferable abilities and administration of studying, emphasis is positioned on gaining hands-on follow, from working in the print room to drawing on the streets, and dealing on projects and case research to achieve experience of engaged on reside briefs.

The Shopify illustration staff has provided the Shopify default avatars, a sequence of spot illustrations and 4 empty states (generic, merchandise, posts, and adverts) that you can use to encourage retailers to create content particular to your platform.

You’ll have opportunities to showcase your work alongside world-famous illustrators at main events reminiscent of Cheltenham Illustration Awards, the London Ebook Fair, ELCAF (the UK’s leading unbiased comics competition) and the Bande Dessinee d’Angouleme festival in France (Europe’s most well-known comedian pageant).

A few of our college students and alums are publishing magazines, learning art training to work with scholar 1-12th grade, selling work by way of on-line stores, freelancing for design, animation, and other kinds of studios, working as workers in a design or animation studio, exhibiting in galleries, producing artwork for books, children’s e-book projects, CD covers for musicians, and creating tee shirt designs.
